Hygge, as it is often called, refers to the practice of being in a peaceful, comfortable, friendly, warm, and happy environment. You can also talk to us to help you get rid of your troubles and feed your soul. Hot chocolates, warm conversations with loved ones, wool socks, candles, fireplace, mulled wine, comfortable furniture, pleasant scents… You got the ambiance…
This philosophy does NOT have a single definition. It has some essentials. This philosophy is based on a 10-item manifesto. Here you go;
- Atmosphere: Natural lighting was important, such as candles or fireplaces. Soft lighting such as candlelight and dim light should have been chosen.
- Keep your eyes on the present: It is essential to be happy in this environment by staying present and excluding technology. You can see that the screens are closing and that conversations are beginning to open. The substance that the Hygge philosophy collapsed before it started in Turkey… “I couldn’t post my wine with the fireplace on the Instagram story, but I’ll start philosophy like this. Why did we make ???”? Elam will not see it.
- Enjoy Little Things The sound of the fireplace crackling, the flickering of the candle, the taste of hot chocolate… Being able to enjoy the little things, and even skimping on those things, so to speak, is another sine qua non of this philosophy.
- Equality: Another thing that could lead to the demise of philosophy in Turkey is: In this philosophy, there is no hosting. The drinks will be poured together and the table will be taken apart.
- Gratitude: You see, gratitude is one of the foundations of Hygge! Hahahaha. I’m not explaining here, you know…
- Harmony: Who is capable of greater grandeur? We don’t need our egos or our ranks.
- Comfort: This is my favorite ingredient. Comfortable will make everyone feel good. We are comfortable in soft, comfortable clothes. We don’t like tight clothes, uncomfortable seats or squeamish attitudes. Oh my…
- Ceasefire: Resentment and tension are not acceptable in Hygge, unlike our holidays. It is also forbidden to discuss negative things, engage in politics, or tense the environment. If someone tries to hygge, he/she will kick my butt.
- Togetherness: Happy crowds, shared meals and conversations…
- Shelter: It is essential that we feel safe in the environment where we live. The bear will leave, so don’t go up the mountain in fear of the wolves. We will be in a safe area.
It turns out, the Pinterest environments that we love have a philosophy. One difference is that I don’t need to be drowsy just to get a picture like this one. According to me, it is okay to strike him on the head with a cell phone if he does. This philosophy is counterintuitive for many people today who are afflicted by the disease of showingoff.
