Halal in Rome

All seven halal listings are kebab shops, and they range from the historic centre to the eastern edge of the city. Chicken Hut on Corso del Rinascimento, beside Piazza Navona, sells chicken as well as kebab, and kebab & tandoor on Via Daniele Manin, across from Termini station, adds Indian dishes and opens from 8 AM to 10 PM. Far out east, Via del Torraccio di Torrenova has two: Super Food and Kebab, which also cooks Indian food, and Il Buon Kebab e Pizza. Sahara Spices on Via Gela opens earliest, at 6:30 AM, and Pro Kebab Pizza on Viale della Serenissima closes latest, at 2 AM. Six of the seven list €1–10 per person, and Il sorriso Pizza e Kebab on Via dei Gracchi, in Prati, €1–20.
