Kebab & Döner in Palermo

Palermo's kebab shops rarely stick to kebab alone. Four are also listed as Indian: Kohinoor Ristorante e Kebaberia on Via dello Spezio, an Indian restaurant open for lunch and again from 4:30 PM until 2:30 AM or later (lunch only on Thursdays); Eastern Tandoori & Kebab House on Via E. Amari; Srilankan Kebab R.V. Ceylon on Via Dante; and Kebab Pollo Nasta Halal on Via del Ponticello. At Nos. 65 and 69 Corso dei Mille, London Grilled Kebab is a near neighbour of Punto sushi Kebab Pizza, which is listed for sushi and pizza as well. Three have Middle Eastern listings, among them Casablanca Cafe' on Piazza Olivella, by the archaeological museum, open from 11 AM to 3 AM every day. Angolo Kebab on Via Roma opens only at 4:30 PM but stays open until 2:30 AM, and 3:30 AM on Sunday nights; its reviews mention kebab served in a piadina as well as in a panino. Ten of the 14 list €1–10 per person.
