Turkish in Hamburg

Harburg accounts for five of the 14 Turkish entries: Hünkar on Schloßmühlendamm, Köz Ocakbasi on Neue Straße, DönerQueen on Harburger Ring, which Google describes as a glass-fronted Imbiss with homemade sauces, falafel and potato dishes, and the two Wilstorfer Straße neighbours, where reviews of Özlem Köfte mention sarma and home cooking. Six more are in the borough of Hamburg-Mitte. Gözleme Café on Georg-Wilhelm-Straße in Wilhelmsburg takes its name from the filled Turkish flatbread and is reviewed for börek and bread rolls as well, while Köz Antep Restaurant on Steindamm is one of three listing €10–20 per person. Out west, Köz Sultan Kebap Döner on Altona’s Große Bergstraße is reviewed for pide and baklava. Seven of the 14 carry Google’s Turkish-restaurant category, ten list €1–10 per person, and four give closing times of 1 AM or later on at least one day.
